A walk back in time and forward to today

Please make sure to hydrate before you arrive!
Location: We will be meeting on the steps of the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, located between Broadway and Whitehall Street just opposite Battery Park. Closest subway stop is Bowling Green, number 4 & 5 trains, or next closest Whitehall Street R or W trains. Or South Ferry no. 1 train. M15 Bus goes to South Ferry too. It would be good to check www.tripplanner.mta.info for latest transit info and to customize your trip.
We will see Bowling Green Park and the Charging Bull Sculpture, walking through the old financial district and see the traces of Old Dutch New York. along Wall Street and see The New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, J.P. Morgan's Bank, Trinity Church and the Federal Reserve Bank, and end the tour at the 9/11 Memorial on Liberty and Greenwich Street.
Right now, the plan is to eat afterwards at a diner is called Georges on Rector and Washington Street. They have tables upstairs that could accommodate our group.
